Generate a student registration link

Your students will need a link from you to set up their accounts.

It may be best to give them the link as part of your first lesson on the event. Students can log in from 4th September.

How to generate the student registration link

  1. Go to your profile page (you need to be logged in).
  2. Scroll down to find the “Generate Student Registration Link” button near the bottom of the page. Click this.
  3. On the next page, type your school and the class name and click “Save class & Display link”.
  4. A URL will be displayed. Get your students to enter this URL into their web browser, it will take them to a page where they can create their own account on the site. Students can copy this link from the board but it may be easier if you email it to them or save it to any online learning tools or homework planners your class use.

Some students might be taking part with more than one teacher and will need to use the same account throughout the event. 

When sharing the registration link, check if students have already been given one by another teacher. If they have, ask them to use their first account instead of starting a new account. If students create additional accounts, they will have to fill out a new profile each time and all their posts from the event will be spread across different accounts.
