I’ll be there!
Hi Mr Bowater (& students) I’ll be there!
I’ll do my best to be there 🙂
I’m happy to make up the numbers even though I can’t talk much about Science! I’ll be there!
I’ll be available for this slot 🙂
I’m an Australian Experimental Psychologist in the School of Anthropology. My research is about rituals and the evolution of culture. Some example questions that I might be able to answer (and elaborate on):
– What are rituals, and why would you or anyone ever care about them? There special kinds of actions that make our brain strange things, and have a lot of very strange (but not supernatural) effects in the world.
– Are rituals only religious? Nope – your birthday party, where you set a cake on fire and chant is a ritual to.
– What are some of the strangest rituals you know? There are rituals in South American where people drink a special drug called Ayahuasca that makes the hallucinate for hours; In the Philippines people nail themselves to crosses. In Spain, people run away from charging bulls. In Mauritius, people walk across fiery coals.
– Do Apes do rituals? Did cavemen?
– How do you ‘science’ on rituals?
– Or anything else about science and research 🙂
I’ll be there.
I will be present
